Did you know that Delta Gamma has it's on YouTube channel? No? What?

(ok I didn't either until recently!)

While many of the "programs" offered on it are geared toward collegians, there are a fair number of videos that are interesting to alumnae, including Convention coverage, Fraterniy Mission Statements, and feel-good videos on what other sisters are up to. I encourage everyone to check it out.

I've been dabbling in the world of couponing for the past year. I've scored some amazing deals, learned a lot, bowed in the presence of some super-coupon masters, and decided to share my learning with others. If you've never clipped a coupon, or worse, thrown them away (eek), come and spend a while learning how you can save real money at the grocery store. Tips and tricks for newbies!

Dues news

Just a reminder sisters that per capita dues are to be paid directly to Delta Gamma for 2010-2011. Our alumnae chapter collects only chapter dues. Last year nearly 100 area sisters paid their per capita dues, but only about 40 also paid their chapter dues (we are able to see online who has paid which ones). I'm hoping you will consider paying both. Without your local dues ($22) we can't afford to offer the many programs we provide for alumnae during the year.

Fall Kick off Event Announced!

Hello Sisters:

Be on the lookout for the 2010-2011 Alumnae Event Calendar via email very soon. Our first event is our famous fall kick-off and shared appetizer dinner on September 14th in Arlington Heights (details in the newsletter). We'll meet and greet and eat and share the cool activities that Ann, our vp: programming, has planned for the year. Plus, Donna, our president, will share her experiences at the Delta Gamma Convention. You don't want to miss this.

If you DON'T receive a newsletter from us, it's because we either have no email address for you in our records, or we have an email address that bounces. Our next event is a dutch treat dinner at Cooper's Hawk Restaurant, which has an excellent selection of wine and great food.

Cooper's Hawk is located in The Arboretum Shopping Center at the corner of Higgins and Hwy 59.

Please RSVP by April 8th

We will be conducting a special wine tasting before the meal. If you plan to attend the wine testing, please arrive by 6pm.
